I Really Suck...

Seriously I so suck at this whole blog thing! I mean it's been a week since my last post! I guess it's because I have been busy with life. Lauren (goalie in pics) had a soccer tournament 4.5 hours away this past weekend. Her team lost the first game by 1 (we had an own goal) and tied the second game 0-0. We were very close to scoring several times! Here are some pics of the weekend.

Tomorrow my girlfriends and I are headed to Santana Row to celebrate E's birthday! We are staying at the Hotel Valencia and having diner at the Left Bank. Good times are sure to be had!

High School Projects

I was hoping for a lazy Sunday but my daughter has two projects due this week. We took a trip to Michaels, a hobby store, Target, and Safeway. We still didn't find everything she needed but I think she will get by. We use lots of my scrapping supplies for her projects so I justify some purchases thinking I will use them for future school projects, ha!

Yesterday my girlfriends came over and we scrapped, had some snacks, drank a few coronas and caught up with life. Gotta love good company! Here's a layout I did using a sketch from Club Got Sketch.

Happy St Patricks Day!

After picking up Lauren from school today I took her to the local cupcake shop Penny Cakes. We then decided to head into the Claddagh an Irish restaurant located next door to the cupcake shop. We had a child size fish 'n chips, I enjoyed a beer and Lauren had a coke. I'm a sucker for bread pudding and the restaurant had it on their menu. It took everything in me not to order a piece. I did however have my delicious looking cupcake to look forward to.

How Can This Be?!

I decided to start posting on my blog again, it's a good way to look back and reflect. So here it goes...

My first born turned 21 this past Monday! I just can't believe how fast those 21 years have flown by! She was always a happy baby and still is a happy person. Don't get me wrong she has her moments but for the most part is a hard working 21 year old girl! We had a little party for her on Saturday and on Monday the b-day girl and her dad went to lunch she even had a glass of wine which she didn't finish. :) Today we went to get a mani/pedi and grab some lunch. We stopped by the outlets to get her boyfriend a dress shirt because a group of them are going out on Friday to celebrate her b-day.
